Owed: 151,2 € per month

A driver takes home 1,900 euros for the month. Sounds fair. Until you divide by 160 hours. Then it's 11.88 euros per hour. Below the minimum wage of 12.82 euros. This calculator shows in seconds if you're within the law. And if not, what you owe as a top-up.

How the calculator works

You type in your driver's total work time for the month. Including all waiting time counted as standby. Then the real payout. Wage, commission and bonuses together. The calculator divides payout by hours. That's the real hourly wage. For comparison, you also see the hourly wage without waiting time. That's always higher. And it's often wrongly used for the minimum-wage check. A traffic light checks against 12.82 euros. If you're below, the calculator shows how much to top up.

What Fahrly does for you

You have to run this check for every driver every month. With 10 drivers and swinging waiting time, it becomes chaos. Fahrly's HR module runs minimum-wage compliance for every driver automatically. Work time from the Uber log plus shift plan. Payout from the payroll math. If it's below the limit, an alarm fires. Before you release the payout. You top up and close the case in the same month. No back-payment later. No fine. No awkward questions during an inspection.

Minimum wage is a duty. Turn it into an automatic check.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

How much is minimum wage?

From 2025, it's 12.82 euros per hour. The value is adjusted every two years. The general minimum wage applies to Mietwagen drivers. There are no exceptions. Standby waiting time counts as work time. And must be paid at minimum wage.

What about commission models?

Minimum wage still applies. If a driver falls below in one week, you must top up. For example, with lots of waiting time. If you systematically pay less, it's a crime. And you must back-pay up to three years.

How do I document work time safely?

Since the European Court of Justice ruling in 2019, you must record work time systematically. Start, end, breaks per day. For Mietwagen it's doubly important. For minimum wage, ArbZG and BOKraft inspection. Digital is better than Excel. What matters: no one can change the data.
