How much money stays with the driver? How much with the operator? That's the biggest fight in Mietwagen operations. And the biggest reason drivers get unhappy. This calculator shows it in seconds. What's left of the weekly revenue after Uber, Bolt, fuel and commission?
How the calculator works
You type in the driver's gross weekly revenue. That's the number from the Uber or Bolt dashboard. First the calculator takes off the Uber fee. Then the fuel cost for the week. What's left is the net amount. This is split between driver and operator. With a typical 45 percent commission, the driver keeps 45 percent. The rest is yours. From that you pay leasing, insurance and admin.
What Fahrly does for you
Many operators do this math every week in Excel. Per driver. With numbers from Uber, Bolt and fuel receipts. Sometimes it's right, sometimes not. Fahrly's HR and Finance modules do it automatically. Revenue comes straight from Uber and Bolt. Fuel is added through the vehicle mapping. Your commission rule runs on its own. On Friday, the payout per driver is ready. Clean and no arguments.
One login. All Uber and Bolt payouts. Fair payout without Sunday-night Excel.
Häufig gestellte Fragen
›What's a normal driver commission in Germany?
For Mietwagen with Uber or Bolt, 40 to 50 percent of the net fare is standard. That's after Uber fee and fuel. Some pay up to 55 percent. Others use a fixed salary plus bonus. In that case the percentage is usually lower.
›Calculate from gross or net?
The fair and standard way in Germany: first take off the Uber fee and direct costs like fuel. Then apply the driver's percentage. Anyone using gross must set the percentage much lower. Otherwise the operator loses on every ride.
›What about minimum wage?
Minimum wage still applies with commission. Currently 12.82 euros per hour. If a driver earns less in a week, the operator must top up. Especially with lots of waiting time. Use the minimum-wage calculator for that.
